Site Superintendent - Roads and Infrastructure (Arabic Speaker)

Job Summary

Al Marwan Group is seeking a highly experienced Site Superintendent to lead and oversee the execution of roads and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing mid- to large-scale infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on wet utilities, pipelines, roadworks, and authority coordination.

This role requires exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all project specifications and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•

Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities related to roads, infrastructure, wet utilities, and pipeline projects.

•

Ensure project execution aligns with approved schedules, specifications, and quality standards.

•

Coordinate daily site operations, manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to maximize productivity.

•

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.

•

Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain smooth project execution.

•

Oversee installation and construction activities involving water pipelines, sewer networks, drainage systems, utility corridors, and associated infrastructure works.

•

Liaise with authorities including SEWA, DEWA, EtihadWE, municipalities, and other stakeholders to secure approvals and facilitate project execution.

•

Review construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and work procedures.

•

Identify site challenges and implement effective solutions to maintain project timelines.

•

Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations, company policies, and quality requirements.

•

Conduct site inspections and prepare regular progress reports for management.

•

Lead and mentor site teams, supervisors, and foremen to achieve project objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•

Minimum 10 years of experience in the same role on mid- to large-scale projects within the UAE.

•

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent, Construction Superintendent, General Superintendent, or General Foreman.

•

Strong background in roads and infrastructure construction projects.

•

Extensive experience in wet utilities, pipeline installations, drainage networks, and utility infrastructure works.

•

Demonstrated experience coordinating with SEWA, DEWA, EtihadWE, and other relevant authorities.

•

Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority regulations, and industry best practices.

•

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, IFC plans, and technical specifications.

•

Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

•

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

•

Sound understanding of HSE regulations and quality management systems.

•

UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience is mandatory.

•

Must be available to join immediately.

Preferred Qualifications

•

Arabic-speaking candidates are highly preferred.

•

Experience managing multiple work fronts and large site teams.

•

Strong network and working knowledge of local authority procedures and approvals.
