📍 Location: Cairo, Egypt 🏢 Industry: Food & Beverage / Restaurant Chain

We are hiring on behalf of a leading restaurant chain in Egypt seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across its operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.

🎯 Role Overview The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures, and programs across restaurant branches, production facilities, and corporate offices to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

💼 Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, food safety standards, and company requirements

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all locations

Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions

Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees and management

Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare regular reports for leadership

Collaborate with operational teams to identify hazards and implement preventive measures

Lead emergency preparedness and response planning, including fire safety and evacuation procedures

Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Coordinate with regulatory authorities and support compliance inspections when required

Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization

✅ Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management

Experience within Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Retail, or Multi-site Operations is highly preferred

Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and industry best practices

Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly preferred

Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage safety initiatives across multiple locations
