Starting wage for the Warehouse Parts Assistant is $18-$20/hour.

The Role

The Warehouse Parts Assistant is responsible for supporting the receiving, organization, and movement of inventory within the parts department. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively in a high-paced environment.

Pick and Pack Orders – 60%

Pulls and fills orders from stock; sets up orders for shipment, delivery, or pick-up

Receives, verifies, and organizes incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality

Places stock and supplies in designated locations or delivers to appropriate manager(s)

General Maintenance – 30%

Maintains appearance of the Parts Department, including the front counter, display areas, and warehouse (dusting, wiping, sweeping, etc.)

Assists Parts and Service personnel in locating required parts efficiently and professionally

Keeps work areas neat, clean, and safe

Ad Hoc Projects – 10% (and important!)

Operates forklift safely and appropriately

May drive the Parts truck to pick up orders within the city

Processes warranty parts scrap reports

Manages dirty core inventory

Processes dirty core returns

Education & Certification

High school diploma (required)

Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license (asset)

Experience & Skills

Minimum 1 year of shipping/receiving, supply chain, or warehouse experience (required)

Propane forklift experience (asset)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the day

Positive, hardworking, and safety-minded approach to daily tasks

Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment

Occasional evening and weekend availability

Professional presentation and communication with colleagues and customers

Strong problem-solving skills: ability to define issues, collect data, and draw conclusions
