LONDON, UK (Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week)

A benchmarked salary between £35,270 to £41,770. Your salary level is determined by skills and experience within our progression framework.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Paid Media Manager, you’ll drive performance across a portfolio of paid media accounts through strategic optimisation, data-led decision making, automation, and cross-channel collaboration. You’ll lead bidding and creative strategies, deliver actionable insights, support advanced measurement initiatives, and identify opportunities for innovation and commercial growth.

Working closely with clients and internal teams, you’ll manage multiple priorities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and support the development of junior team members. You’ll also leverage emerging AI tools and platform technologies to improve efficiency, enhance campaign performance, and help shape best practice across the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Campaign Management & Technical Excellence

You'll own the daily performance and technical sophistication of your client portfolio.

Bidding & Optimisation: Independently manage and troubleshoot bidding strategies to hit agreed KPIs. Implement complex portfolio bidding and leverage CroudOS automation tools

Account Hygiene & Platform Expertise: Maintain "Best in Class" account hygiene. Stay ahead of technical platform shifts, extract maximum value from platform tools, and define what proactive maintenance looks like for your pod

Automation & Tools: Help identify manual, repetitive tasks within your accounts and proactively implement automated solutions (scripts/proprietary tech) to improve margins

Copy & Creative Strategy: Brief creative assets for campaigns. Use data to suggest high-impact creative pivots and lead the ongoing creative testing roadmap for your clients

  • Data, Measurement & Reporting

You'll be responsible for elevating reporting from "what happened" to "what we should do next."

Data Analysis: Transform raw data into actionable insights that actively change the direction of an account, whilst tracking business KPIs

Measurement & Incrementality: Explain the impact of privacy changes to clients. Implement and report on simple lift/AB tests, incrementality tests, helping work to get clients bought into advanced measurement models

  • Strategic Planning & Account Development

You'll proactively identify growth opportunities and ensure our media plans are integrated.

Roadmap Ownership: Build, audit, and execute 90-day roadmaps that align closely with client business goals. Help lead & support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

Cross-Channel Integration: Help build integrated Search and Social Media plans. Coordinate cross-channel budgets and contribute to internal cross-channel syncs to ensure strategy is cohesive

Commerciality & Growth: Build business cases/case studies that show clear commercial benefits to new adopted initiatives. Help to curate external and joint case studies. Optimise client investments and help surface potential cross-sell opportunities to SAM/AD

Channel Innovation: Keep your team updated on platform betas and trends. Independently test new features and drive the adoption of new channel tactics across the agency

  • Operational Efficiency & Team Leadership

You'll be a role model for the Executives and a trusted operational partner to the Senior Account Managers and Account Directors.

Workload Management: Confidently manage multiple deadlines across various accounts. Protect your "deep-work" time through effective calendar management and coach others on time-blocking

Team Development: Mentor junior team members (Executives) on core technical tasks. Provide constructive, actionable feedback on their work and run team training sessions on core platform topics

Presentation & Communication: Write and speak about complex systems and the chosen paid media approach. Overcome presentation challenges, and persuade clients and colleagues to align with your approach. Working with the team to construct responses to clients’ queries and requests in a timely and effective manner

Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and leverage AI tools (CroudOS automation tools or qualified third-party tools) to streamline workflows and enhance management efficiency

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Degree-level education or equivalent/relevant work experience

Native speaker of Japanese, Korean or Chinese

Demonstrable passion, experience and knowledge of Paid Media platforms (including PPC and/or Paid Social), minimum 1-2 years of experience in Paid Search, specifically across Search Engines (Google, Microsoft etc.)

Experience and knowledge of local Search Engines (Yahoo! Japan, Naver, Kakao etc.) would be an advantage

Strong Microsoft Office/Google Workspace skills which must include Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs and PowerPoint/Google Slides

Proven track record of working to and meeting deadlines and able to deliver under pressure

Proven time management skills, strong project management skills, experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Proven ability to think critically and creatively, with an impeccable attention to detail

Proactive approach to ways of working and problem solving, with the confidence to question the norm

Strong communication & presentation skills

Thrives working in a team setting

Mathematically minded and comfortable working with large numbers

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
