Job Purpose

Support Operations strategic initiatives and key projects by combining project coordination, continuous improvement, and operational supply chain management activities. The role will contribute to ensuring the availability of operational resources and equipment required for fleet and operational needs, coordinating with internal teams and external partners throughout the procurement, logistics, and delivery process.

The position will also support planning activities, identify efficiency opportunities, develop data-driven insights and KPI monitoring tools, and contribute to improving operational performance and future scalability in Vueling's projects objectives.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

Support and coordinate cross-functional operational projects, ensuring alignment between operational requirements and business objectives.

Promote continuous improvement initiatives within operational planning processes to increase efficiency and adaptability.

Monitor operational resource availability and support the development of short- and long-term solutions to address operational needs and shortages.

Support project management activities related to Fleet Transformation and operational initiatives, ensuring actions, timelines, and deliverables are tracked effectively.

Coordinate the procurement and follow-up of operational equipment and materials, ensuring timely purchasing, delivery, and implementation according to business needs.

Manage and monitor end-to-end supply activities related to operational equipment, including supplier coordination, shipment tracking, delivery status monitoring, and issue resolution.

Act as a liaison with suppliers, providers, transport companies, customs agencies, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of procurement and delivery processes.

Analyze supply and operational performance data, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization.

Manage Operations KPIs and provide detailed reporting and insights to support decision-making.

Perform any additional responsibilities or tasks related to the role as assigned.

Education

Degree in Industrial Engineer, Aeronautical Engineer or similar fields.

Demonstrated Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau or others.

Knowledge and certification of PMO is a plus.

Experience

At least 1 year of direct experience in areas such as Operations, Supply, Logistics, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, or related functions

Skilled in project management and process improvement initiatives

Experience with suppliers and managing procurement or supply processes is highly valued.

Highly desired knowledge in B737
