The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will

•

Be responsible for delivering an unforgettable stay for our guests

•

Work alongside the luggage porters and door persons to give guests the warmest welcome

•

Ensuring public areas of the hotel remain clean, tidy, and immaculate

•

Deliver a discreet service that exceeds the exceptional standards set by Rocco Forte Hotels.

•

Support the Night Manager and other Night Team Members

•

Having a similar experience is beneficial, and night shift work is essential

•

Ability to work nights and weekends

•

Hold a valid driving license to support the valet parking service

Night Porter shifts run from 20:00 to 08:00 on a fixed 4-on, 4-off pattern.
