We’re looking for the person who can see the whole airspace — what needs landing now, what can circle, and what needs rerouting.

SmartGrass is a l eading artificial grass specialist delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and sports installations across New Zealand. We’re a fast-growing business in a growing industry, backed by modern systems, good tech, and people who care about doing things well.

Our Sales Consultants design and sell complete artificial grass solutions. Once a project is sold, it’s handed to Operations. That’s where this role comes in.

Operations takes the plan and delivers it - coordinating the work and ensuring every job is completed to a high standard, from handover through to final sign-off.

About the Role

The Operations Coordinator is the backbone of SmartGrass operations. You plan the work, align resources, support installers, and keep clients confident from first contact to completion.

You sit between sales, installers, suppliers, and clients - bringing structure, alignment, and follow-through. You’re analytical and organised, but just as comfortable dealing with people and making decisions when plans shift.

What This Looks Like

You’ll line up residential and commercial installs, lock in schedules, allocate crews, vehicles, and materials, and make sure everyone knows where they need to be and when.

You’ll be the main point of contact for clients post-sale, keeping communication clear and work moving. You’ll work closely with the National Operations Manager, using modern systems to keep the operation running smoothly.
