Job description
We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Public Safety and Mobility business.
In this role, you will work at the core of our operations — ensuring our electronics and technology solutions are built on a competitive, reliable, and scalable supplier network. Our solutions are used in public transport, passenger information systems, and safety‑critical environments , meaning your work will have a real, visible impact.
Location: Turku or Forssa (with flexibility to work across both sites)
What you’ll do?
As a Sourcing Manager, you will take ownership of your sourcing area and drive performance end‑to‑end:
•
Lead sourcing activities for selected categories, suppliers, and materials
•
Manage RFQs, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations
•
Build and develop supplier relationships to improve cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability
•
Collaborate closely with R&D, production, quality, and project teams
•
Support new product introductions and engineering changes
•
Analyze markets, benchmark suppliers, and drive cost competitiveness
•
Proactively identify supply risks, availability challenges, and obsolescence issues
•
Monitor and improve sourcing KPIs and overall supplier performance
What you bring?
•
You combine commercial thinking with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset:
•
Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain in an industrial/manufacturing environment
•
Strong background in supplier management and commercial negotiations
•
Understanding of electronics, electromechanical or mechanical assemblies is a plus
•
Ability to collaborate in a cross‑functional, international environment
•
Analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving skills
•
Experience with ERP tools
•
Fluency in Finnish and English
