Job description

Role Purpose

The Seller Relations Specialist is the primary point of contact between Leroy Merlin South Africa and its marketplace partners. The role is dedicated to enabling seller success by providing structured onboarding, ongoing support, and proactive performance management. Specialists ensure smooth partner integration, maintain catalogue quality, and drive seller growth through education and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Guide new marketplace partners through registration, product listing, and their first sales.

Support sellers in creating and maintaining high-quality offers, ensuring price accuracy, stock synchronisation, and complete product attributes.

Monitor catalogue health and service level performance, identifying and escalating issues proactively.

Analyse seller performance by tracking GMV, take-rate, returns, and NPS using advanced Excel or Google Sheets.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recommend automation opportunities to improve efficiency.

Create and support training initiatives, including webinars, training presentations, and partner enablement materials.

Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace sellers, providing ongoing guidance and support.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and enhance the seller experience.

Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12/Matric (essential)

2–3 years managing third-party marketplace sellers on Mirakl, Amazon, Takealot, Magento, Shopify Marketplace, or similar.

Demonstrated impact on ≥ R10 m annual GMV (quote figures in your CV)

Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills

Experience creating training materials or SOPs that improved seller performance.
