Job description

Join our team as a Lead Product Owner!

Yes, you can! That's our attitude towards our work, ambitions, ideas, and relationships. We at Luminor believe that anyone has the potential to achieve big things and encourage everyone to achieve them, professionally and personally.

Whoever you are and whatever your role is, with Luminor, you will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a local banking champion.

As a Lead Product Owner , your mission is to drive digital customer acquisition and engagement by shaping and delivering high-impact product experiences that attract, convert, and retain customers. You will own the vision, roadmap, and execution of your product stream while leading and developing a team of Product Owners - ensuring alignment, consistency, and excellence across all product initiatives.

Operating at the intersection of business, technology, and customer experience, you will leverage strong technical expertise to guide complex solutions - working closely with engineering and architecture to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing products that deliver measurable business outcomes.

How You Will Make an Impact

Own and drive the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for digital customer acquisition and engagement

Lead, mentor, and align a team of Product Owners, setting a high bar for product excellence and delivery standards

Shape and guide product discovery in complex, ambiguous environments, ensuring solutions are grounded in data, customer insight, and business value

Establish consistent, scalable ways of working across discovery and delivery, with strong ownership of backlog quality and prioritisation

Orchestrate execution across multiple teams, ensuring clarity of scope, dependencies, and outcomes

Partner closely with senior stakeholders across business, technology, and control functions to align priorities and decisions

Ensure technical, operational, and regulatory readiness across product initiatives

Define and drive measurable outcomes, continuously optimising acquisition, conversion, and engagement

Take full ownership of delivery risks, dependencies, and issues through to resolution

What Makes You a Great Fit

Proven leadership experience as a Senior or Lead Product Owner within banking, fintech, or other regulated industries

Strong technical fluency, with the ability to engage across architecture, APIs, and data flows

Track record of leading agile delivery across multiple teams with high-quality product practices and artefacts

Exceptional ownership mindset with the ability to operate decisively in ambiguity

Strong product discovery expertise and a data-driven approach to decision-making

Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across business and technology

Experience mentoring Product Owners and elevating product ways of working at scale

Solid understanding of customer data domains and digital product ecosystems
