Societies & Acquisition Intern

About the role

On this role you will support the Societies & Acquisition Team by collaborating with various internal teams and gaining exposure to journal acquisition processes. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills in an international and fast-paced environment.

This is a paid , part-time internship position based in Belgrade , with flexible working hours accommodated to your academic commitments.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Support the Societies & Acquisition Team in day-to-day activities and ongoing projects
• Assist in preparing presentations, materials and communication for potential partners, clients and stakeholders
• Provide administrative and coordination support related to contractual documentation and internal approval processes
• Contribute ideas and support initiatives aimed at improving MDPI’s acquisition programs, partnerships and internal team processes

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a university or higher education institution in a relevant field of study
• Great command of English (both spoken and written)
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to see the big picture
• Curious, motivated and eager to learn
• Willingness to contribute and take initiative
• Ability to multi-task
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
