Job description

Job Summary To support the commercial and operational delivery of projects within RE:GEN Green. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will assist in ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining profitability and compliance with contractual obligations. They will develop excellent relationships with customers and assist in managing the Supply Chain, Sub contractors and direct staff.

Daily Responsibility

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tenders

Assist in procurement of subcontractors

Management and control of subcontract accounts and processing payments

Help manage project costs from award through to final account

Prepare and submit applications for payment and invoices

Record works completed on site using Call Off sheets and Project Tracker

Identify, price and record variations

Liaise directly with clients, customers, subcontractors and suppliers

Assist in procurement of materials and labour packages

Maintain records of costs, orders and project documentation

Assist in the production of monthly CVR reports

Assist with final accounts and project close out

Support general commercial and administrative tasks as required

Experience & Skills

Essential

Hold or working towards a Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying or similar

Strong numeracy and attention to detail

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Willingness to learn and take on responsibility

Good communication skills

Desirable

M&E experience

Experience with Google Sheets
