Promote strong security awareness and vigilance across vessels and shore staff

Define and oversee security training programs for ship and shore personnel

Facilitate effective communication between Ship Security Officers and Port Facility Security Officers

Align security requirements with safety and operational needs

Ensure consistency and standardization of security processes across the fleet

Manage and monitor alternative or equivalent security arrangements where applicable

Demonstrated experience in maritime security within the passenger vessel sector

Certified Company Security Officer (CSO) qualification

Experience in a senior onboard role, or relevant shore-based position (e.g. Security Manager)

Previous CSO experience with a ship manager or ship owner is a strong advantage

Experience in Cruise, Ferry, or Yacht segments

Strong understanding of global maritime security risks and regulatory frameworks (ISPS Code)

Practical knowledge of vessel protection measures and industry best practices
