Facade Structural Engineer

AESG are currently recruiting a Facade Structural Engineer to join our cost management team to work on a project in Dubai.

As a Facade Structural Engineer , you will support project leader in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our client, and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

Job Purpose

•

Hold responsibility for the construction supervision projects.

•

Manage both the technical and commercial aspects of projects.

•

Provides guidance and leadership to more junior team members.

Qualifications and Experience

•

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering or equivalent.

•

Required minimum experience 3-5 years.

•

Preferred façade design and engineering experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

•

Independently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues- at detail design and construction stage and remedial of existing projects.

•

Conduct Façade diagnosis inspections and reporting.

•

Conduct factory and site inspections and reporting, including testing and visual performance mock-ups.

•

Generating multiple instances of repeat work with clients.

•

Provide guidance and leadership to more junior team members and provide line management.

•

Updating existing construction check list templates.

•

Keeping up to date with the facade market/standards/code of practice.

•

Development of research publications.
