Sustainability Consultant - Construction and Site Supervision

AESG is seeking a proactive and technically strong Sustainability Consultant – Site Supervision to support construction-stage sustainability services across multiple high-profile projects in the UAE.

The role will focus on on-site implementation, material submittal reviews, compliance monitoring, contractor coordination, and construction-phase certification support for green building rating systems such as LEED, Estidama, WELL, Mostadam, Fitwel, and related sustainability frameworks.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with contractors, consultants, and site teams during construction stages and be capable of managing fast-paced project environments with strong coordination and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

•

Manage and support construction-stage sustainability services across multiple projects in the UAE Conduct regular site inspections and prepare site observation reports.

•

Review material submittals and shop drawings for compliance with sustainability and certification requirements

•

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to obtain required documentation and evidence

•

Support LEED, Estidama, WELL, Mostadam, Fitwel, Al Sa’fat, and other sustainability certification submissions during the construction phase & support relavent authority approvals

•

Monitor construction waste management, IAQ measures, erosion and sedimentation control, and environmental compliance on site

•

Track sustainability compliance through construction trackers, NCRs, and close-out reports

•

Review contractor method statements and sustainability implementation plans

•

Support commissioning coordination and construction-phase documentation requirements

•

Attend client, contractor, and coordination meetings and provide technical sustainability guidance

•

Assist in preparing monthly progress reports, dashboards, and authority submissions Support handover documentation and final certification submissions

•

Coordinate internally with energy, sustainability, commissioning, and digital teams to ensure integrated project delivery

Qualification and Experience

•

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field

•

3–6 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting and/or construction supervision within the UAE/GCC Strong understanding of construction practices, material approvals, and site coordination processes

•

Experience in green building certifications such as: (LEED, Estidama Pearl, WELL, Mostadam, Fitwel, Al Sa’fat)

•

Experience in reviewing construction material submittals and contractor documentation

•

Familiarity with authority requirements and UAE construction practices

•

Strong report writing and communication skills

•

Ability to manage multiple projects and urgent site requirements simultaneously Proficiency in MS Office and project management/document control platforms such as ACC, Aconex, or SharePoint is preferred

•

LEED AP / Estidama PQP / WELL AP or equivalent accreditation preferred Site-based construction experience on large-scale developments, hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects

•

Experience in UAE sustainability authority submissions and construction audits

•

Valid UAE driving license preferred
