About the Role
As a Field Application Scientist, you will be responsible for scientific customer engagement and application support, while helping to drive product adoption, customer success, and collaboration opportunities.
You will act as a bridge between customers, scientific collaborations, and commercial opportunities by translating scientific needs into customer value and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
•
Lead scientific discussions with customers regarding applications and experimental design
•
Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and leading research groups
•
Conduct scientific presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions
•
Support customers in understanding and implementing the company’s technology in their research workflows
•
Participate in customer meetings where deeper technical or application expertise is required
•
Drive and support lead conversion by helping customers progress from initial interest through evaluation, adoption, and successful use of the company's products.
•
Identify scientific collaboration opportunities and new application areas
•
Support beta testing, early adopter programs, and product validation activities
•
Monitor scientific developments, publications, grants, and funding opportunities relevant to the business
•
Gather customer insights and market feedback to support commercial activities and product development
•
Represent Navinci at conferences, scientific meetings, webinars, and industry events
What We Are Looking For
Education and background
•
PhD in a relevant field such as immuno-oncology, molecular biology, proteomics, biotechnology, or medical science
•
MSc with strong and relevant industry experience may also be considered
•
Hands-on experience with molecular biology, immunostaining, immunoassays, antibodies, proteomics, or related technologies
Experience
•
Experience in a customer-facing, application support, scientific affairs, field application, or commercial support role within life sciences
•
Experience working with academia, biotech, CROs, pharmaceutical companies, or related customer groups
•
Experience supporting customers with research tools, technologies, or scientific workflows
•
Experience from a commercial or sales-oriented environment is considered an advantage
