About the Role

This role will suit someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting, learn about the payments industry, and start their career in a fast-paced global technology company. This is a full-time paid internship.

Ideally, the candidate will have the following

• Currently in your second year and above of study or recently graduated in 2024 or 2025.
• An A+/A equivalent bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance , accounting, commerce, economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Quick learner with an interest in financial operations, reporting, and the payments industry.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A growth mindset, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly reviewing customers’ accounts to identify overdue, take appropriate action to recover debts.
• Negotiating payment plans and ensure that payment is received on time.
• Contacting customers regarding missed payment and resolving billing issues.
• Maintaining customer records.
• Collaborate with various teams to support business and financial objectives.
