Job description
INTERSPORT is looking for a skilled and driven Finance Manager to lead the finance function in Denmark.
In this role, you will be responsible for both the daily financial operations and the overall quality of financial reporting, while acting as a key business partner to the organization.
Responsibilities
•
Oversee daily accounting operations together with the team
•
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
•
Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
•
Ensure accurate posting of incoming and outgoing payments
•
Take full ownership of the monthly closing process, including accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
•
Handle various ad hoc financial tasks and support the business as needed
Leadership: You will lead and develop a team of 6 employees, including payroll, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and a strong team culture.
Qualifications and Experience
•
Strong and solid experience within accounting and finance
•
In-depth knowledge of Danish accounting standards and tax regulations
•
High attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy
•
Ability to work independently, structured, and proactively
•
Experience with ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Navision is an advantage)
•
Experience from IT or system implementation projects is considered a strong advantage
•
Experience with payroll is a plus, but not required
