ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Social Media & Influencer Executive is responsible for managing and growing the agency's social media presence across client accounts, delivering content-led strategies that cut through in sport and entertainment. This is fundamentally a social media role - owning channel management, content planning, community engagement, and performance reporting day to day.
Influencer management forms a supporting part of the remit: identifying relevant talent, coordinating campaign activity, and ensuring influencer content lands in line with client objectives. The right candidate will be platform-savvy, creatively curious, and comfortable working at pace across multiple accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement social media strategies
•
Execute social media goals and objectives aligned with overall brand strategy
•
Support audience research and competitive analysis initiatives
•
Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across assigned social media platforms
•
Manage and execute social media content calendars
•
Monitor social media performance metrics and contribute to regular reporting
Execute social media campaigns
•
Implement social media campaigns, including paid and organic initiatives
•
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., creative, sales) to execute integrated social media campaigns
•
Support influencer partnerships and relationship management
•
Manage assigned social media budgets
Community management
•
Monitor and respond to social media mentions and messages in a timely and professional manner
•
Engage with followers and nurture community relationships
•
Identify potential issues and escalate social media crises appropriately
•
Foster a positive and engaging online community
Influencer Identification & Outreach
•
Research and identify relevant influencers across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and emerging platforms, with a focus on sport and entertainment audiences
•
Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies, building and maintaining a strong network of talent relationships
•
Lead contract negotiations and secure competitive campaign rates aligned with client budgets
Campaign Planning & Execution
•
Develop and deliver comprehensive influencer marketing campaigns from brief through to completion, aligned with client objectives
•
Author detailed campaign briefs and clear influencer guidelines that set up talent for success
•
Monitor campaign progress against KPIs and provide regular, structured updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Content Strategy & Creative Development
•
Collaborate closely with influencers on creative concepts, ensuring content is on-brand, engaging, and platform-native
•
Provide direction on content formats, messaging hierarchy, and brand guidelines throughout production
•
Oversee content delivery, reviewing and approving outputs to ensure quality and consistency
Platform Management & Analytics
•
Manage live social media campaigns across platforms, maintaining oversight of posting schedules and performance
•
Use social listening tools to track conversations, surface trends, and identify opportunities in real time
•
Analyse campaign data, extract meaningful insights, and present findings in clear, actionable reports
Client Relations
•
Build and nurture trusted relationships with clients, acting as a reliable day-to-day point of contact on influencer activity
•
Communicate proactively on campaign progress, flagging risks and opportunities before they become issues
•
Develop strategic recommendations that help clients continuously improve their influencer marketing approach
Industry Knowledge & Innovation
•
Stay current on platform developments, algorithm shifts, and emerging influencer trends across sport and entertainment
•
Attend relevant industry events and conferences to build knowledge and expand the agency's talent network
ABOUT YOU
•
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
•
5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a strong focus on influencer marketing and campaign execution.
•
Proven success managing and optimizing influencer and social media campaigns across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
•
Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, content strategy, advertising platforms, analytics, and performance reporting.
•
Experience with influencer sourcing, negotiation, contracting, talent relationship management, and client communications.
•
Proficiency in social media, content creation, social listening, and project management tools, including Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Brandwatch, Mention, Asana, and Trello.
•
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
•
Creative storyteller with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
•
Experience in the sports and entertainment industry is preferred.
