Job description

In this role you will be responsible for managing shift quality operations, driving zero defect initiatives and ensuring adherence to Autoliv standards. You will need to deliver strong DPMU performance, reduce scrap and ensure smooth coordination across departments while maintaining safety and quality excellence.

Responsibilities
•
Manage end-to-end shift quality operations across A, B and C shifts
•
Drive DPMU reduction and zero defect initiatives
•
Analyze quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
•
Monitor and reduce scrap cost through structured improvement activities
•
Interact with customers during audits and plant visits
•
Ensure adherence to Autoliv standards and customer requirements
•
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely deliverables
•
Support Kaizen implementation and drive shop floor improvements
•
Prepare and maintain quality data and reports
•
Ensure 5S implementation and workplace organization
•
Maintain operator discipline and support single piece flow
•
Ensure safety compliance across operations
If you have/are
Skills & Experience
•
4–5 years of experience in process quality (automotive/manufacturing)
•
Experience in handling shift operations and operator management (10–20 team size)
•
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•
Experience in rejection analysis and countermeasure implementation
•
Knowledge of DPMU tracking, scrap reduction and quality metrics
•
Understanding of customer audit requirements and process compliance
•
Familiarity with Kaizen and continuous improvement practices
