Tradecraft Subject Matter Expert

Overview

Pherson is seeking Tradecraft Subject Matter Experts to support course creation and delivery by partnering with instructional teams to shape content and solutions (e.g., providing domain expertise for training products and engagements).

Location: Northern Virginia

Operating Hours and Expectations: This position anticipates onsite work with standard work hours, Monday-Friday. Extended hours may be required during peak periods

Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/FS Poly (TS/SCI ISSA)

Position Type: Part-time Employee or Contractor

Skills/Knowledge

• Ability to deliver guest lectures and workshops to share in-depth specific knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate with instructional designers to integrate practical applications.
• Remain updated on industry trends and advancements to inform course materials.
• Expertise in the field designated by the client that is relevant to training needs.
• Ability to provide constructive and targeted feedback on discipline-specific analysis using analytic standards and quality framework guidelines.
• Ability to work and teach in a classified environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree.
• Seven to ten (7-10) years of experience working as an analytic manager and/or analyst, including at least seven (7) years of experience in mentoring and providing substantive review of and personal feedback on drafts and briefings to analysts.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in designated fields relevant to training needs, including relevant techniques, tools, methods/procedures, and approaches to analysis used in the IC, as well as in academia and the private sector.
