Overview
Pherson is seeking a Instructional Designer with a TS/SCI w/FS Poly (TS/SCI ISSA) . This position will design and redesign classroom modules using blended learning principles, set learning objectives, develop/revise lesson plans, and refine content based on student feedback; for online learning, develops web-based training plans and interactive content with SMEs.
Location: Northern Virginia
Operating Hours and Expectations: This position anticipates onsite work with standard work hours, Monday-Friday. Extended hours may be required during peak periods
Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/FS Poly (TS/SCI ISSA)
Position Type: Full-time
Skills/Knowledge
- Ability to stay updated on design trends and incorporate new techniques into work.
- Ability to develop innovative design solutions into and work in a classified environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five to seven (5-7) years of experience developing visual concepts and materials for a variety of platforms.
- Demonstrated success designing visuals for projects from concept through execution, considering usability and aesthetics.
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator.
- Experience collaborating closely with instructors, instructional designers, and managers to deliver effective visuals.
