Troika Management Corp. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager based in Kelowna BC. Reporting to the COO, this position ensures exceptional employee experiences while fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace. This role combines HR leadership, advisory support, and generalist responsibilities across day-to-day operations, including recruitment, retention, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and employee development. The HR Manager will assist in enhancing compensation and benefits programs, support workplace health and safety initiatives, contributing to organizational success outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with Troika’s strategic goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and high performance while promoting respectful workplace relationships.
- Partner with leadership to continuously improve staffing needs assessment processes to meet short and long-term objectives.
- Lead the HR department, coach, mentor and develop HR team members.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Continuously refine the onboarding practices to deliver gold standard employee onboarding experience.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for recruitment and onboarding.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Advise and support managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Lead performance management initiatives, including employee performance evaluations, goal setting, and career development action plans.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies, compliance and staff development.
Workplace Safety and Wellness
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards and wellness initiatives.
- Manage WorkSafe claims and reporting.
- Lead the office JOHSC and promote a healthy and safe work environment.
Policy, Compliance and Data Management
- Maintain and update HR Policies to ensure compliance with BC employment laws, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Leverage HR metrics and data to drive decision making and process improvements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist in evaluating competitive salary structures, benefits programs to maintain market competitiveness and employee retention.
- Management of HRIS and employee performance platforms (BambooHR and Perform Yard).
- Administer the day-to-day benefits program and interface directly with the organization’s third-party benefits advisor.
Workplace Culture and Engagement
- Promote employee engagement, recognition, retention, diversity and inclusion initiatives through events and programs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of BC employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
- Experience in construction and real estate development industries an asset.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, specifically BambooHR and Perform Yard as well as data analytics.
- CPHR designation or desire to obtain designation required.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including extended health, dental, and RRSP matching.
