OT Application Specialist

Job Title: OT Application Specialist Location: Stockholm or Oslo Reports To: IT & Network Organization

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated OT Application Specialist to join our IT & Network organization with a dedicated focus on Operational Technology (OT) applications within the datacenter environment.

In this role, you will support the design, operation, maintenance, and continuous development of critical OT platforms including BMS, CCTV, Access Control, DCIM, CCMS, and ITIL-related systems. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across IT, Critical Operations, and Network teams, as well as external suppliers and vendors, to ensure stable, secure, and efficient operations of business-critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze internal stakeholder requirements for platform implementations and future developments
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to perform requirement analysis and evaluate implementation efforts
• Act as project manager for platform improvements and development initiatives
• Define acceptance criteria and monitor testing and operational rollout phases
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and main point of contact for OT platforms during live operations
• Monitor supplier performance and support contract management activities
• Administer and maintain OT applications to ensure high availability and operational stability
• Guide and support users in the correct usage of systems and platforms
• Support integrations between OT and IT infrastructure environments
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident handling, and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure and cybersecurity standards
• Maintain documentation related to systems, applications, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational processes and platform performance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share technical expertise within the organization

Work Structure

• Standard business hours with flexibility based on operational requirements
• Role may include support across multiple datacenter sites when needed
• Travelling may be included in the position

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Experience working with Operational Technology environments, infrastructure platforms, or datacenter operations
• Experience coordinating suppliers, vendors, or technical development projects is considered an advantage
• Relevant technical education within IT, Infrastructure, Networking, or similar field is preferred

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong understanding of IT hardware and software platforms including:
• VMware
• Windows Server
• SQL Databases
• Backup platforms
• Linux
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and infrastructure integrations
• Familiarity with trouble ticketing systems, CRM tools, reporting platforms, and CMMS solutions
• Understanding of IT operations and cybersecurity standards
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a critical environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
