Job Description

We’re looking for a PPC & Paid Media Analyst who enjoys building campaigns that deliver real commercial impact and not just impressions and clicks.

At OptiCommerce, you’ll manage and optimise multi-market paid campaigns for independent optical retailers and premium eyewear brands across the UK, Ireland, North America and the Nordics. You’ll work within a specialist performance team where PPC, SEO, content, analytics and web strategy are tightly integrated.

This position is based in our London office in Chiswick and operates on a hybrid working model, with three days per week onsite.

This role offers ownership, variety, and clear progression into senior performance strategy.

What you’ll be doing

Campaign management

  • Build and optimise Google Ads campaigns from initial brief through to launch and scale
  • Manage budgets across multiple markets and currencies
  • Execute keyword strategies aligned to commercial intent and client objectives
  • Write and test high-performing ad copy
  • Optimise Smart Bidding strategies (CPA / ROAS / value-based)
  • Develop remarketing and audience targeting strategies

Performance optimisation

  • Improve conversion rates through landing page insight and testing
  • Identify growth opportunities using Auction Insights and competitor positioning
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance against targets
  • Identify and resolve performance issues efficiently

Tracking & reporting

  • Work within GA4 and Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate tracking
  • Use call tracking and conversion attribution tools
  • Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards
  • Translate performance data into actionable client insights

Collaboration

  • Work alongside SEO, content and web teams on integrated campaigns
  • Contribute ideas to improve campaign structure and agency processes
  • Support client strategy conversations with performance insights

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • 3+ years’ experience managing Google Ads campaigns, OR 2+ years’ agency-side PPC experience
  • Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of conversion tracking and attribution
  • Comfortable working within GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience optimising toward CPA / ROAS targets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities
  • Excellent written English and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Microsoft Ads experience
  • Meta Ads experience
  • Looker Studio reporting experience
  • Experience with call tracking platforms
  • Experience working with e-commerce or appointment-driven businesses

Why join OptiCommerce

  • Exposure to international campaigns across multiple markets
  • Real ownership of client accounts and campaign strategy
  • Hybrid working flexibility
  • A performance-focused agency environment
  • Sector-specialist expertise in optical retail and healthcare
  • Cross-channel learning across SEO, CRO, landing pages, content and analytics
  • Responsibility for real client outcomes
  • Opportunities to attend industry events and exhibitions
  • Clear progression toward Senior PPC / Performance Strategist roles
  • Support from an experienced performance marketing leadership team
