Role Purpose

EC Markets is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join its marketing team and provide operational support across its global and regional social media activities. This role has been created to ensure continuity and quality of execution across EC Markets ; social media presence, with a scope that extends beyond pure administration to include coordination responsibilities across teams, regions, and campaigns.

The Social Media Coordinator will manage day-to-day content execution, maintain the content calendar, liaise with design and content teams, support campaign delivery, and assist with reporting and performance tracking. This role is an execution and coordination position; strategic direction, global social media planning, and overall brand governance remain within the Global Social Media Manager function.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Calendar Management

  • Coordinate the day-to-day management of EC Markets; global and regional social media channels.
  • Execute and maintain the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and accurate publishing across all platforms.
  • Adapt and localise content for different markets while maintaining alignment with the global social media strategy.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal approval processes.

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Coordinate with Design, Content, and regional teams to ensure content is delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage communications, content approvals, and publishing requirements with regional stakeholders.
  • Provide operational support to ensure consistency and efficiency across all social media activities.

Campaign & Paid Social Support

  • Support campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking across multiple regions.
  • Coordinate the monitoring and reporting of paid social media campaigns across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok, ensuring campaigns are launched on schedule, assets are delivered on time, and performance is tracked against objectives.
  • Support live coverage and social media activations during expos, sponsorships, webinars, and events.

Community & Performance

  • Manage community engagement and assist with social media monitoring across platforms.
  • Monitor social media performance and prepare regular reports using platform analytics and insights.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years; experience in social media management, content coordination, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain a content calendar across multiple platforms and regions.
  • Strong coordination skills with experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting or executing paid social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar platforms).
  • Proficient in social media scheduling tools and platform analytics.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desirable

  • Experience within financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with content localisation for multiple regional markets.
  • Experience using project management or workflow tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, Trello).
  • Knowledge of social media compliance and approval processes in a regulated environment.
