Job description
Title: Product / Senior Product Associate Location: New Delhi, India, with current and ongoing work authorization Position: Full-time
Posted on: 24 June 2026
Application deadline: July 10, 2026, 5 pm IST (applications may be reviewed as they are submitted)
PxD is seeking a Product Associate to join our India team, embedded within a Project Management Unit at the Ministry of Agriculture. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organized, collaborative, and passionate about using technology and data to improve the lives of smallholder farmers.
Working closely with and reporting to PxD's Product Manager, the Product Associate will play a key role in the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital agricultural advisory services. You will sit at the intersection of government, AI product development, technology, and operations — helping to translate user needs and programme goals into effective product solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the Product Manager in the day-to-day management and delivery of digital agricultural advisory services, including tracking progress against key milestones and flagging risks early
- Serving as a key point of contact between PxD and government counterparts at the Ministry of Agriculture, building trusted working relationships with officials and ensuring clear, timely communication across all workstreams
- Attending and contributing to government meetings, workshops, and reviews — preparing materials, capturing actions, and following up to ensure commitments are met
- Coordinating across internal PxD teams, field staff, and external partners to ensure alignment and smooth programme delivery
- Supporting deployments by engaging with all relevant stakeholders and ensuring they have everything they need to go live smoothly
- Leading Product Acceptance Testing (PAT) for every new feature upgrade or release, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing with ministry officials — including chasing sign-offs and approvals
- Supporting the preparation of briefings, presentations, and progress reports for government and senior stakeholders
- Gathering and synthesising user feedback and field data to help inform product decisions and improvements
- Vetting and quality-assuring content following LLM ingestion to ensure accuracy and fitness for purpose
- Contributing to product growth by tracking and driving increases in user reach and impact
- Documenting processes, maintaining project plans, and keeping shared records up to date
- Contributing to knowledge-sharing and reporting across PxD's wider global product team
What we're looking for
We need someone who has, or can quickly develop, the following:
- Some experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, or a related field — 1 to 3 years is a good guide, though we care more about aptitude than years
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage professionally with senior government officials and partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Hindi, with the ability to adapt your style for different audiences
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach — someone who takes initiative and follows through
- Comfort working in complex, fast-moving environments where priorities can shift
- A genuine interest in agriculture, international development, or using technology to improve outcomes for underserved communities
Experience or qualifications in any of the following would be helpful:
- Computer science or engineering
- AI-related solutions
- Service design, UX, or user research
- Prior experience working with or within government institutions
About PxD
PxD is a rapidly scaling global non-profit that harnesses the power of technology, data science, and behavioural economics to provide targeted information to farmers in low and middle-income countries. Providing the right information to the right people, in the right way and at the right time, increases incomes, protects the environment, and improves well-being. We are evidence-based: we test our interventions with randomised controlled trials to prove our impact and cost effectiveness, to simultaneously learn from and improve our service, and to demonstrate our value to funders and partners. There are few programmes in international development that are as demonstrably cost-effective as ours.
How to Apply
To apply, please visit the PxD website and use the online application form to submit a CV, cover letter, and brief responses to the screening questions. The position will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the application deadline of July 10, 2026, 5pm IST.
