The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for outbound and inbound lead generation activities, with a primary focus on booking qualified meetings and advancing prospects into the sales pipeline.

Core Responsibilities

Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via email, phone, and other approved channels

Respond to inbound leads and qualify prospects using a provided qualification framework

Book meetings with qualified prospects and hand off effectively to sales leadership

Execute calling and email sequences with consistency, quality, and personalization

Adapt messaging and scripts in real time based on prospective responses and engagement

Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline hygiene in CRM systems

Over time, may expand to also conduct initial discovery calls to qualify whether prospects are actual opportunities

Qualifications

Soft Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.

Sales Acumen: You can sell confidently and close quickly without coming off “salesy.”

Customer-Centric: You have a knack for listening deeply, asking the right questions, and providing tailored solutions.

Adaptable Under Pressure: You remain composed, organized, and efficient during high-volume periods.

Tech-Comfortable: You’re experienced with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach), VoIP phone systems, and Shopify (or willing to learn).

Process-Oriented: You follow procedures with accuracy while maintaining a sense of urgency.

Objection Handling: You possess strong live objection-handling skills, showing resilience when facing pushback, and the ability to confidently navigate tough conversations to turn rejections into pipeline opportunities.

Strong navigation and research skills: Particularly in researching accounts and school districts

Effective outreach skills

Strong knowledge and understanding of the U.S. educational system

Proven experience in CRM Systems, preferably (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach).

Comfort with high-volume outreach while maintaining message quality and personalization.

Ability to learn and consistently apply a structured qualification framework

Must be committed to working onsite as required.

Technical Skills & ISP Requirements

Superior web navigation and computer skills

Proficient with Microsoft applications, understanding technology and different software programs - outbound dialer, salesforce, HubSpot or similar CRM software and outreach a plus, scheduling on calendar day to day, zoom/google meetings/teams.

Experience, Education, Age

Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a call center environment, with an experience in an outbound B2B environment is required.

Experience prospecting in one or more of the following: Education, strong preference for K-12 OR non-education HR, including recruitment, L&D, and other non-benefits parts of the department; ideally some combination of both

Cold calling, calling sequences, and live objection handling experience is required.

Prospecting, lead qualification, and meeting booking experience is required

CRM systems experience is required.

Strong knowledge and understanding of the U.S. educational system is preferred

Experience in Shopify, retail sales jobs and VoIP phone systems are a big plus.

At least 2 years in College, any course or Senior High School graduate or its equivalent.

Must be of legal age to work in the Philippines; minimum of 18 years old.
