California Law Firm Paralegal

The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is seeking a California Law Firm Paralegal to support attorneys with legal drafting, case management, document review, client communication, research, and trial preparation. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of California legal procedures and prior experience working in a law firm or legal support role.

The Paralegal will assist with organizing case files, drafting and editing legal documents, preparing pleadings and correspondence, conducting legal research, communicating with clients and witnesses, maintaining deadlines, and supporting attorneys throughout the life of a case. Attention to detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments are essential.

This position is classified as a Paralegal in accordance with California Business and Professions Code Section 6450. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a legal team.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $22 – $28 per hour.
