Job description

At Loaf we make insanely comfy sofas, beds and homewares that help people lead more comfortable lives. Founded in 2008, Loaf has steadily grown each year to become one of the leading premium furniture and homeware brands in the UK. We now have 12 Shacks (stores to everyone else!), with more on the way. It's an exciting time to join an ambitious business.

Your role as our Web Product Executive is to support the delivery of our website development roadmap and own website support tickets. You'll work with the Website Product Manager to understand the bigger picture of what the team needs to deliver to support the wider business strategy.

We expect you to have an inquisitive mindset, proactively analysing data and listening to feedback to understand how our website is working. You'll be a self-starter who will spot problems, trends and insights and highlight these to management. You will contribute to business growth and operational improvements through website and infrastructure optimisation.

The Job

You will work with a broad and diverse group of stakeholders from across Loaf, as well as numerous external partners. We work in a collaborative environment, where we acknowledge that it takes teamwork to achieve success. Communication skills must be a forte in your repertoire to be a success in this role. You'll be expected to contribute to and support the roll out of new projects, features and upgrades, championing continuous improvement across the organisation.

Own the management and resolution of support queries with our website and third-party web integrations, including troubleshooting data issues when product information, pricing, or inventory appears incorrect

Take the lead on user testing for our website and its various integrations across the organisation

Maintain and update functionality how-to guides and documentation for internal teams and external partners

Manage the day-to-day execution and delivery of our BAU development sprints and backlog

Contribute to risk assessments for new implementations and risk mitigation with rollback planning for new implementations

Create and maintain process documentation for common website issues and their resolutions

Contribute to UX, scoping and road mapping workshops with stakeholders from across the organisation

Work on diverse projects with stakeholders from around the business including business analysts, solutions architects and infrastructure engineers ensuring everyone is aligned around a clear vision of success

Representing user and stakeholder needs in project meetings

Work with our Marketing, Buying and Creative teams to scope out and deliver new features and functionality to support product launches and campaigns

Maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, helping to identify common goals, resolve conflicts and working in a matrix structure

We're looking for

Involvement in scoping, planning and managing development projects

Comfortable investigating and resolving web-related issues when they arise

Ability to remain objective, avoiding projection of personal preferences onto users

Experience working with enterprise level e-commerce platforms

Experience of project management and managing development backlogs

A real knack for taking a variety of complex problems, prioritising them and devising solutions

Experience creating and maintaining process documentation and user guides

A commitment to delivering technology and process change in the pursuit of profitable commercial growth

Proven experience working with complex product data. This should cover product enrichment, attribute management, taxonomy and categorisation.

Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to connect with a mix of personalities from techies to operational peeps

We expect you to be comfortable working autonomously, but having the skill to know when to and when not to involve management to keep projects and roadmaps on track

Always on the look-out to improve how things are done, challenging the status quo and never accepting second best

A real can-do attitude with a willingness to get your hands dirty, get on with the job and make great things happen

A high attention to detail and commitment to deliver outstanding work to agreed deadlines

And, most importantly of all, you absolutely must be an all-round good egg, with a real willingness to get on with the job and make great things happen

Indicators of success

You'll regularly be overseeing the deployment of smaller support fixes to the website

You'll be trusted by your peers to own any support tickets relating to the website and to keep relevant stakeholders updated

You'll be the go-to person for resolving web-related issues and maintaining clear documentation

You'll be able to prioritise your workload and that of our development partners.

You'll understand clearly the costs and benefits of each decision and recommendation you make.

You'll have created comprehensive how-to guides that enable teams to resolve common issues independently

Business stakeholders will be kept updated and informed of SLAs on support tickets and UAT progress on new projects

Your peers provide positive feedback and know you as a reliable and consistent performer

You invest in your own learning and development, showing a commitment to continuous learning

Some of our benefits

25 days holiday, increasing by 1 day each year for 3 years, plus 8 days for bank holidays

Enhanced family leave policy

Staff and friends and family discount scheme

Healthcare cash plan

EAP programme

Shopping discounts

Cycle to work scheme

Half a day for Christmas shopping

Life Assurance - 4 times annual salary
