Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Officer to join our Corporate Services team. Reporting directly to the manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining exceptional client service standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and supporting the efficient delivery of corporate banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all administrative and operational activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and control requirements
  • Support compliance requirements including documentation and file reviews for Medium and Low Risk Clients
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service in all internal and external interactions
  • Processing e-banking queries and requests
  • Handle account opening, managing loan drawdowns, monitoring and chasing past dues, handling cheque deposits
  • Managing increases in e-banking limits (including callbacks, system updates, and user maintenance)
  • Preparing and executing manual payment instructions, including callback verification
  • Requesting and following up on supporting documentation (Compliance / FLOD / SafeWatch)
  • Maintaining accurate customer data in systems such as Finacle and MeClients
  • Managing document storage and retrieval in INVU
  • Supporting E-Wealth setup, including account configuration and user management
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Manager Corporate Admin and Head- Corporate Services

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of A-level standard of education and/or at least 3 years’ relevant experience in banking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking operations and administrative processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

Preferred Skills (Considered an Asset)

  • Previous experience within a corporate banking or corporate services environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. KYC, AML)
  • Client relationship management experience
