Consultant Psychiatrist – Outpatient Services Ashburn Clinic | Dunedin, New Zealand

Ashburn Clinic is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Outpatient Services team in Dunedin.

Ashburn is one of New Zealand’s longest-established psychiatric hospitals and a not-for-profit therapeutic community , providing public and private mental health services to people aged 17+ from across Aotearoa.

This permanent full-time role involves managing an outpatient caseload including psychiatric assessments, rTMS, medication management (including deprescribing), and ADHD, ASD and ACC assessments . The position also offers opportunities to contribute to the development of innovative outpatient services within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Ashburn provides administrative support, consulting rooms, and clinical infrastructure. Please note that this role requires you to do a minimum of 25 billable clinical hours per week .

Applicants must hold vocational registration as a psychiatrist in New Zealand , work well within multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrate commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive care .
