Collection Agent

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and collection services to our delinquent clients (90+ days) in U.S and Canada for the installment and payday loans.
• Accountable for achieving collection results and meeting monthly performance targets.
• Take inbound and make outbound calls.
• Prepare notifications to secure payment; explain penalties, interest, deadlines, and consequences for failure to comply.
• Evaluate financial information for the purpose of negotiating payment of the balance in full, settlement, and/or payment plan.
• Analyze loan contracts and execute customer solutions with a tactful customer-first approach.
• Building relationships with our clients to understand their needs and issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of call center experience (1 year in collections experience is a must)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and time ‑ management skills to effectively recover outstanding balances while maintaining professionalism and compliance.
• Ability to multitask effectively across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and text messaging.
• Fluent in English. (French & Spanish is an asset)
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and accepts responsibility for their own actions.
