Position End date: One-year term, with a possibility of extension.
Job Summary
This position is classified as an Independent Contractor . Student Advisor and Sales is not an employee of the institution and will operate independently while meeting agreed-upon performance standards and educational policies aligned with PTIRU. The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, benefits, equipment, and work arrangements, and will not be entitled to employee benefits.
Job responsibilities
Advising and Counselling
- Conduct cold calls and generate leads.
- Arrange and attend meetings with prospective partners and clients.
- Communicate effectively with universities and colleges to help expedite application processes.
- Have extensive experience in B2C sales, with some exposure to B2B sales.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Be proficient in using CRM systems and managing customer relationships.
- Assists in analyzing and offers recommendations on the strategies for attracting more potential students.
- Provide personalized guidance to prospective students regarding academic programs, admission requirements, and career pathways.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract a diverse student population.
Qualifications
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Experience in marketing and sales is preferred
- Excellent networking and connections with business partners
- Experience working with agents and clients
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field or relevant education.
- Working in an educational institution is preferred.
- Excellent/Good organizational skills, communications skills- oral and written and interpersonal skills.
- Multilingual and able to communicate with ease
- Ability to make a high volume of reach outs to people (80-150 per day) while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
