Job description

Join LEONI’s HR Shared Services team and play a key role in supporting and optimizing global business travel processes across our international organization.

In this role, your primary focus will be supporting business travellers from Germany, while also contributing to the further development of travel services that may gradually expand to additional countries and regions within LEONI.

As a Business Travel Specialist, you will act as a trusted partner for employees, managers, travel providers and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth, compliant and cost-effective business travel arrangements.  You will support travel-related processes, provide expert guidance on travel policies and regulations, contribute to process improvements and help deliver a high-quality travel experience for our employees worldwide.

What will be your responsibilities?         

  • Support and manage business travel processes in line with company policies, compliance requirements and service standards
  • Provide guidance on travel-related topics including booking conditions, travel policies, visa and entry requirements, passenger rights and travel expenses
  • Act as a key contact for employees, managers and travel providers regarding travel-related requests and issues
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient travel arrangements and high service quality
  • Support travellers in resolving unexpected travel disruptions such as cancellations, delays, strikes or emergency situations
  • Monitor compliance with travel policies, local regulations and data protection requirements
  • Analyse existing travel processes and identify opportunities for improvement, standardization and automation
  • Support reporting activities related to travel costs, travel behaviour and process performance
  • Create and maintain travel-related documentation, guidelines, training materials and user support content

What do we expect from you?

  • Previous experience in business travel management, travel coordination, mobility services, HR Shared Services or a similar administrative role
  • Advanced understanding of the business travel lifecycle, including air, rail, accommodation and rental services
  • Knowledge of travel policies, visa and entry requirements, passenger rights and travel industry practices
  • Basic understanding of local regulations related to business travel, such as expense reimbursement, working time regulations and taxation
  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of online tools and digital platforms, including travel and expense management systems
  • Experience with SAP HR is an advantage
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to review and improve existing processes and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), German minimum B1.

Basic gross guaranteed salary: 1600 EUR/Brutto 

The final salary may be higher than the advertised minimum and will be determined individually based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and the requirements of the position.
