Job Description
The Data Product Manager is responsible for working on complex financial data, analytics, and data product development initiatives that gather and integrate large volumes of data across enterprise platforms. Designs and builds scalable data solutions leveraging modern cloud-based environments, including Snowflake and Databricks, to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains data products, curated datasets, and semantic models (Power BI) that enable consistent, governed, and scalable data consumption across business users. Supports enterprise reporting and self-service analytics by implementing best practices in data modeling, metric standardization, and visualization.
- Acquires and integrates data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring strong data quality, governance, and alignment with enterprise standards. Build and optimize data pipelines and transformations to support both ad-hoc analysis and repeatable use cases.
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends and patterns in complex datasets to answer critical business questions and provide actionable recommendations. Apply advanced analytical and statistical techniques to generate insights that drive data-informed decision-making.
- Collaborates closely with business stakeholders, data engineering, and technology partners to translate business needs into scalable data and analytics solutions. Plays a key role in advancing the organization’s data product strategy, enabling reuse, automation, and standardization of analytics across teams.
- Leverages tools such as Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx to design intuitive dashboards, automate workflows, and deliver insights. Presents results in a clear, concise manner, allowing stakeholders to quickly understand findings and take action.
- Applies domain knowledge in Impact Finance, including affordable housing, tax credit investments (e.g., LIHTC, NMTC), and portfolio performance, to contextualize analysis and ensure output aligns with business and regulatory needs.
- Measures and monitors the performance and outcomes of implemented recommendations and data products; adjusts solutions based on results and feedback.
- Ensures all data acquisition, sharing, modeling, and analytics activities comply with enterprise data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
- Experience working in or supporting Impact Finance, affordable housing, tax credit investing (LIHTC, NMTC), or financial portfolio analytics
- Strong experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks
- Experience building and supporting data products, data pipelines, and scalable data models
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including semantic model (dataset) design, DAX, and enterprise reporting standards
- Experience with Tableau and Alteryx for data visualization and workflow automation
- Strong SQL and Python skills; familiarity with big data and distributed processing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, and predictive modeling
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, organize, analyze, and interpret complex datasets
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and reusable data products
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and enterprise data standards
- Demonstrated project management and delivery capabilities
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
