This role sits within Bupa Global and focuses on building and improving our network of healthcare providers across Egypt and North Africa. You’ll help make sure our customers can access high-quality care when they need it, while also making sure services are good value.

You’ll work closely with hospitals, service partners and internal teams to shape how care is delivered. From building strong provider relationships to improving how we manage costs, your work will directly support better health outcomes for our customers.

It’s a role where you can make a real difference – combining commercial thinking with a strong focus on care, quality and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Network Development Manager, you’ll:

• Build, develop and manage a network of healthcare providers across Egypt and North Africa

• Research local healthcare markets to understand provider quality, availability and pricing

• Agree contracts with hospitals and partners to improve access to care and deliver value for money

• Lead and support a team, as well as work closely with external partners to deliver great service

• Review and improve how we manage healthcare spend, identifying opportunities to improve outcomes and reduce costs

• Work with internal teams to make sure new agreements can be delivered smoothly for customers

• Monitor provider performance and hold regular reviews to improve service and relationships

• Act as a key point of contact for more complex or escalated queries

• Support the growth of provider coverage, including outpatient and specialist networks

• Make sure all activity meets local regulatory requirements and Bupa standards

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can bring both commercial awareness and a passion for improving healthcare.

You must have:

• Managerial experience

You’ll ideally have:

• Bachelor’s degree or above

• Strong insight knowledge of regional hospital industry and its pricing and quality dynamics.

• Previous experience, preferably in private medical insurance or healthcare providers.

• Experience in provider network management and contracting.

• Experience in managing a team of professionals to delivery company strategy.

• Perfect command of English & Arabic, both written and verbal.

• Strong commercial knowledge of the health insurance industry

• Excellent commercial negotiation skills, able to deal with high level hospital administrators but also at operational management level.

• Ability to deliver projects on time, budget and within agreed quality.

• Proven track record of achieving targets with a consistent high level of quality.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to influence business areas without having direct management responsibility.
