SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE Role Title: Senior Business Development Executive Department: Commercial Reports to: Business Development Manager Location: Nairobi, Kenya Direct Reports: N/A Others Reporting Indirectly: N/A Role Summary Drive revenue growth by identifyin g new business opportunities, nurturing strategic partnerships, and closing deals that align with Roamtech’s product offerings. Responsible for building a healthy sales pipeline, market expansion, and enhancing client relationships to achieve sustainable business growth. Key Measures of Performance · Revenue and sales target achievement Pipeline growth and conversion rate Number and quality of new partnerships signed Customer satisfaction and retention· Market expansion progress Reporting Structure Key Responsibilities · Identify and pursue new markets, clients, and revenue streams across Roamtech’s VAS and fintech product suite · Develop customized proposals, business cases, and commercial models for potential clients · Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with decision-makers and influencers · Lead the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation, closure, and onboarding · Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategy · Work closely with product and tech teams to align customer needs with solutions and product roadmap · Support product launches with go-to-market strategies and client engagement · Prepare periodic forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for management · Represent Roamtech at industry events, trade shows, and forums to build visibility and generate leads · Manage contract renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts · Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and materials to support business growth · Ensure CRM systems are updated with accurate lead, opportunity, and client information · Provide post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention · Share market intelligence to influence product innovation and strategic decisions · Minimum 5 years in B2B sales or business development, preferably in telecom, fintech, or tech sectors · Proven track record of hitting commercial targets and managing key accounts Other Job Requirements: Business Competencies Functional Competencies · Strategic business development and consultative selling · VAS, fintech, and mobile technology knowledge · High-level negotiation and deal closure skills · Partner management and industry networking Academic and Professional Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, ICT, or related field Relevant Experience Key Contacts: · Internal & External · · Head of Business, Product, Tech, Legal, and Finance teams · Clients, partners, regulators, and strategic vendors Financial Responsibilities OPEX/P&L Requirements SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE Role Title: Senior Business Development Executive Department: Commercial Reports to: Business Development Manager Location: Nairobi, Kenya Direct Reports: N/A Others Reporting Indirectly: N/A Role Summary Drive revenue growth by identifyin g new business opportunities, nurturing strategic partnerships, and closing deals that align with Roamtech’s product offerings.
