Responsible for the development and maintenance of the MBT Linvol elevator business across the entire Latin American region (from Mexico to South America). This includes the expansion of sales channels through new distributors and end users such as developers and investors. The role involves daily project follow-up with existing clients, customer relationship management, and support for technical and marketing needs. It also requires maintaining communication with China headquarters regarding market information, customer requirements, technical support, marketing activities, and order follow-up. Additionally, the position is responsible for gathering market intelligence, collecting customer feedback, and participating in marketing initiatives.
What will you do?
Sales Channel Development
• Develop professional elevator distributors from local distributors currently representing other brands. • Develop end-user relationships with project owners, developers, investors, and general contractors, and directly follow up on customer projects.
Daily Customer Follow-up
• Follow up on customer project inquiries, understand customer needs, communicate with China headquarters, and provide customers with product selection and quotations. • Follow up on quoted projects, understand customer requirements, and facilitate final sales. • Follow up on customer technical issues and ensure technical engineers provide proper responses to customer inquiries. • Follow up on customer orders and monitor the delivery of confirmed orders. • Follow up on customer requests and coordinate with China headquarters regarding training, marketing activities, spare parts, showrooms, and related support.
Market Information Collection and Feedback
• Understand and gather market information, including major elevator companies and the brands they represent. • Participate in Latin American market activities, including elevator exhibitions, trade fairs, and online promotional events.
Territory Coverage
• Cover the entire Latin American region, from Mexico to South America, initially focusing on key markets such as Mexico and Colombia. • Based in Colombia (Bogotá or another major city) with the ability to travel to other countries as required.
What are we looking for?
• Fluent in Spanish and English. • Bachelor's degree or higher; Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred. • Mandatory experience in elevators, construction, or industrial equipment industries. • More than 5 years of experience in sales or commercial roles within the elevator industry, with strong knowledge of key market players, particularly in Colombia. • Experience or knowledge in sales, new product promotion, and customer development. • Proactive work style with strong self-motivation and goal orientation. • Ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.
