Join us to be a part of a dynamic team working on innovative solutions in the technical textiles industry. # Junior Network Engineer ## Job Summary We are looking for two motivated Junior Network Engineers to support and maintain our IT, Network, Security, and CCTV infrastructure across our existing office and upcoming factory and office locations. The role involves assisting in network operations, firewall administration, CCTV support, user connectivity, and IT infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in networking concepts and a willingness to learn and grow in a multi-location environment. --- ## Key Responsibilities ### Network & Firewall Support * Assist in configuring and monitoring FortiGate firewalls. * Support VPN connectivity (Site-to-Site and Remote Access). * Assist in managing internet connections and ISP coordination. * Monitor firewall logs and report network issues. * Support LAN, WAN, VLAN, switches, and Wi-Fi network operations. ### New Factory & Office Infrastructure Support * Assist in the setup of IT and network infrastructure for new factory and office locations. * Support installation of: * Network racks * Switches * Patch panels * Structured cabling * Wireless access points * Coordinate with vendors during implementation activities. ### CCTV & Surveillance Support * Assist in deployment and maintenance of IP CCTV systems. * Support configuration and monitoring of: * IP Cameras * NVRs * CCTV network connectivity * Perform basic troubleshooting of camera and recording issues. ### Troubleshooting & Operations * Provide first-level support for: * Network connectivity issues * Wi-Fi performance issues * VPN connectivity problems * CCTV and NVR-related issues * Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required. * Assist in maintaining network uptime across locations. ### Monitoring & Security * Monitor network devices and internet connectivity. * Assist in identifying network performance issues. * Follow security policies and report potential threats or vulnerabilities. ### Documentation & Asset Management * Maintain and update: * Network diagrams * IP address records * Asset inventory * CCTV layouts * Track network devices, cameras, and IT equipment. ### User Support * Provide L1 technical support to users. * Troubleshoot and repair user hardware, including: * Laptops * Desktops * Mobile devices * Support remote users and branch locations as needed. --- ## Experience * 0–2 years of experience in Network Support, IT Infrastructure, or Helpdesk roles. * Freshers with networking certifications and strong technical knowledge may also apply. * Experience in manufacturing, factory, or multi-location environments is an advantage. --- ## Educational Qualification * BCA * MCA * B.Tech * M.Tech * Diploma in Computer Engineering / Information Technology * Any relevant degree in IT or Computer Science --- ## Certifications * CCNA Certification (Preferred) * Networking or Security certifications will be an added advantage. --- ## Required Skills * Basic knowledge of TCP/IP Networking * Understanding of VLANs, Switching, and Routing concepts * Basic knowledge of VPN technologies * Familiarity with FortiGate firewalls (preferred) * Knowledge of network cabling and rack infrastructure * Basic understanding of IP CCTV and NVR systems * Omada Controller knowledge (preferred) * Hardware troubleshooting skills * Good communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to learn and work in a team environment This version aligns better with a *0–2 year Junior Network Engineer* profile while keeping exposure to FortiGate, CCTV, and multi-site infrastructure.
