Position Details Role: Quality Control Executive Department: Quality / Production Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Chemical / Textile / Polymer) Experience: 1–4 Years (Freshers with relevant exposure may be considered) Location: Factory (Manufacturing Unit) Job Purpose To ensure that all membrane products meet defined quality standards by conducting inspections, testing materials, monitoring processes, and maintaining proper documentation throughout the manufacturing cycle. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of membrane products Check coating thickness, tensile strength, adhesion, and surface quality Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications Maintain and update quality check reports, inspection logs, and test records Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and report the same Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for corrective actions Monitor process parameters to ensure consistency in quality Conduct random sampling and testing during production Ensure proper handling and storage of materials as per quality norms Support in quality audits and process improvements Skills Required Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality processes Knowledge of inspection tools and testing methods Ability to read and understand technical specifications / drawings Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting Attention to detail and analytical mindset Basic knowledge of quality standards and documentation Preferred Knowledge (Good to Have) Experience in technical textiles / coated fabrics / membranes Knowledge of ISO standards / quality systems Understanding of testing equipment and lab processes Key Traits Strong attention to detail Responsible and disciplined Quality-focused mindset Good coordination and communication skills Problem-solving attitude Ability to work on the shop floor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Defect detection rate Reduction in rework / rejection Accuracy of inspection reports Adherence to quality standards Timely reporting and issue escalation
