Job application link - https://zfrmz.com/a1uRNkZs3WuZyMn0PyE8 WHO WE ARE A small brief about our company: 18 years young organization Partnered with Belgium (Europe) based SIOEN Industries Our offering: Engineered Solutions in PVC Coated Fabrics for Tensile structure, Aluminum Hanger Structures, Bio gas Collection and Storage Systems, Truck Covering Systems Team size of 150 people - growing to 250 Located at : Office at Nariman Point, Mumbai Factory at Sonale, Mumbai Role Title : Design Executive - AutoCAD Department/ Function : Design Experience : Minimum 0 to 1 year of experience Job Location : Nariman Point Requirements Job Title: AutoCAD Executive Department: Engineering / Design / Projects Reporting To: Design Manager / Project Manager Experience: 2–6 years (can be adjusted as needed) Location: Office / Factory / Project Site (as applicable) Job Purpose The AutoCAD Executive is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and layouts to support engineering, production, and project execution activities, ensuring adherence to design standards, timelines, and quality requirements. Roles & Responsibilities Design & Drafting Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings including layouts, sections, elevations, fabrication drawings, and detailed component drawings. Modify and revise drawings based on design changes, site feedback, or client requirements. Ensure drawings comply with technical specifications, industry standards, and internal guidelines. Maintain drawing version control and proper documentation. Project Coordination Coordinate with engineering, project, production, and site teams to understand requirements and timelines. Incorporate inputs from project managers, architects, structural engineers, and clients into drawings. Support project execution by providing timely and accurate drawings. Documentation & Records Maintain a systematic drawing database (soft copies and backups). Prepare bill of quantities (BOQs) or material layouts where required. Assist in preparing technical documents and reports related to drawings. Quality & Compliance Ensure drawings are error-free and ready for execution. Follow company quality standards and drawing approval processes. Address drawing-related queries from internal teams during execution. Support & Continuous Improvement Assist senior designers or engineers as required. Suggest improvements in drafting standards, templates, and workflows. Stay updated with AutoCAD features and drafting best practices. Key Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory). Basic understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances. Knowledge of manufacturing / construction / fabrication drawings (as applicable). Behavioral Skills Attention to detail and accuracy Good coordination and communication skills Ability to work under deadlines Willingness to learn and adapt Qualifications Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Certification in AutoCAD is preferred.
