Electrical Inspector

ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR Company: KN International Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Inspector for a pumping station project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves inspecting electrical works including power supply systems, MCC panels, control systems, instrumentation, and cabling to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections of electrical works including MCC panels, control systems, cabling, and grounding systems. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards. Inspect installation of pumps power supply, control wiring, and instrumentation systems. Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and provide timely responses. Monitor testing and commissioning of electrical and control systems. Verify materials and installation quality prior to execution. Maintain inspection reports, site records, and non-conformance documentation. Coordinate corrective actions with contractors and project teams. Review method statements, shop drawings, and technical submittals. Attend site meetings and report on progress, risks, and quality issues. Coordinate with mechanical and civil teams for system integration. Required Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in pumping stations or MEP infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of MCC panels, control systems, and instrumentation. Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and standards. Experience in inspection and commissioning activities. Strong analytical and communication skills.
