Job description

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with a strong background in crafting user-centric experiences for websites and applications. In this role, you will define customer needs, develop UX concepts, and create essential design documentation, including wireframes, user flows, and prototypes. Collaborating directly with customers and stakeholders, you will leverage research and usability testing to deliver intuitive designs that balance simplicity with complex system requirements. This position requires native-level Japanese, conversational English, proficiency in interaction design best practices, and experience with tools like Photoshop and FIGMA. Knowledge of e-commerce and responsive design is a plus. Responsibilities Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases. Translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity. Create standard information architecture documentation including wireframes, site maps, user flows, user scenarios, functional specifications, navigation schema’s, documentation and prototypes. Work directly with customers and stakeholders to design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behavior and verify design concepts. Requirements 3+ years of experience in UX/interaction design Native-level Japanese, conversational English Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storytelling, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc). Good knowledge of the best practices for interaction design for cross-platform devices and applications Knowledge of e-commerce and online marketing Experience with responsive website design Excellent communication skills Superior organizational skills and attention to detail Extensive experience and capability with Photoshop. Knowledge of FIGMA and/or Illustrator a plus.
