Job Summary MC Systems is seeking a driven and commercially minded Account Executive to grow revenue and deepen client relationships across the government and corporate sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements, and guiding clients through longer consultative sales cycles to the right technology solution. The ideal candidate understands that ICT sales is rarely a single conversation, it requires patience, strategic thinking, and the ability to map client challenges to tailored solutions. You will engage decision-makers and influencers at multiple levels, build lasting partnerships, and position MC Systems as a trusted technology partner to organisations looking to modernise, optimise, and grow. What You’ll Do Sales Growth & Revenue Apply a consultative, solution-based selling approach to uncover client business challenges and position tailored ICT solutions that deliver measurable value Own and achieve revenue and profit targets across assigned accounts Clear focus on consistent building and maintenance of pipeline opportunities Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts to exceed revenue and profitability targets Manage enterprise sales opportunities through the full cycle, from initial qualification and solution design through to negotiation and close Identify client business challenges and recommend value-driven technology solutions Client Relationship Management Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers Engage executives, IT leaders, and operational teams to understand customer requirements Identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions Resolve customer concerns promptly while protecting the company’s reputation Planning & Business Development Develop and maintain account plans for key clients, mapping stakeholder relationships, growth opportunities, and competitive positioning Lead and support solution presentations, RFP responses, and contract negotiations for high-value opportunities Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and technical teams to design customized proposals Reporting & Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and daily sales activity logs and client communications Prepare consistent and reliable sales forecasts to support business planning Manage manual and electronic files effectively, ensuring compliance with internal processes What Success Looks Like Monthly sales targets achieved or exceeded Healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities maintained Forecast accuracy consistently above target Strong client retention and account growth Long-term enterprise relationships successfully developed The successful candidate should have: BSc in Business Management, Marketing, Information Technology, or related fields Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT enterprise or IT solutions sales, or 5 years in consultative solution-based sales Experience selling complex or consultative business solutions to corporate clients Strong negotiation, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills Proven track record of strong sales performance Results-oriented and self-directed Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and business-focused manner Ability to interpret, analyze and apply guidelines and procedures Additional Requirements Reliable motor vehicle Ability to travel to meet the requirements of the role Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Available for occasional local and international travel Willingness to work outside normal hours when required Willingness to execute all duties and responsibilities of the post in accordance with the vision and mission of MC Systems Join a performance-driven team, manage key client accounts, and grow your career while delivering innovative business solutions.
