ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a fast-growing, tech-enabled corporate services platform that empowers entrepreneurs and SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) to incorporate, operate, and scale their businesses across Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK, and Australia. Our client is now strategically expanding its direct commercial presence into Mainland China. ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking an entrepreneurial and high-agency Founding Sales Lead to spearhead our client's direct entry into the Mainland China market. This is a foundational, high-impact role. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building from zero, has a deep understanding of the cross-border business landscape, and is eager to build and lead a team as the business scales. Requirements Responsibilities and Duties: • Own the full sales cycle for Mainland China prospects. Act as the single, trusted point of contact for all clients throughout their buying journey, ensuring a seamless transition to the Hong Kong operations and Customer Success teams post-sale. Consistently achieve a ramping monthly revenue target. • Self-source a robust sales pipeline through networking, outbound efforts, and warm referrals while paid and organic channels are being established. Collaborate with the marketing function to develop a mainland China demand-generation engine. Provide critical, real-time feedback on ICP, lead quality, competitor moves, and local pricing dynamics. • Local Operational Stewardship: Provide strategic input to adapt the China-facing website, content, and product positioning. Help to tailor onboarding materials and sales collateral for mainland China prospects to maximize relevance and conversion. • Team Building: As the business proves out, take charge of recruiting, training, and managing a commercial team. This will involve developing the China sales playbook and coaching future sales representatives, with a view to expanding into northern cities like Beijing and Shanghai. Profile Requirements • Minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of high performance and resilience. • Demonstrated background in selling into mainland Chinese SMEs and founders operating in cross-border contexts, with closed/won evidence. Relevant adjacent industries include: cross-border logistics, FX and payments, ecommerce enablement/3rd-party providers, corporate services, fintech, or SaaS for SMEs. • Market Understanding: Strong comprehension of why mainland founders incorporate in Hong Kong, the offshore structure landscape, and the typical objections and decision drivers of this buyer persona. • Team & Autonomy: A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, owning both lead generation and deal closure. Experience in people management or hiring is strongly preferred. • Language & Communication: Native or fluent Mandarin is mandatory. Professional working English is essential for clear and confident communication with the Hong Kong and global team. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with HubSpot or a modern CRM is preferred. Active use of AI tools in your sales workflow is a significant advantage.
