Job description

Our client is a leading fintech who offers cross-border payments, advanced and innovative money transfer solutions that facilitate secure, efficient, and seamless transactions for both individuals and business across different countries and currencies. They are looking to hire a Business Development Manager who would be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, acquiring, and managing high-value clients and strategic partners for the company's payment, remittance, foreign exchange (FX), and treasury solutions. The role requires a commercially driven professional with a strong industry network who can contribute immediately to business growth by leveraging existing relationships across the fintech, banking, corporate, and trade sectors. Key Responsibilities Identify and acquire new business opportunities for payment, remittance, FX, and treasury products. Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, strategic partners, and key industry stakeholders. Drive client acquisition and retention initiatives across target sectors. Negotiate and close commercial agreements with clients and partners. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of solutions to clients. Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and forecasts to management. Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and performance targets. Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or relationship management. At least 3 years of experience within fintech, payments, remittance, treasury, foreign exchange (FX), or banking. Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and business growth targets. Experience managing and developing strategic partnerships and corporate accounts. Well-established network within the fintech, banking, and corporate sectors. Existing relationships with key decision-makers across: Import and export companies Manufacturing firms Bureau De Change (BDC) operators Travel agencies Educational consultants Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Skills & Competencies Strong business development, sales, and negotiation skills. Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities. Strong understanding of payments, remittance, FX, treasury, and financial services products. Ability to identify market opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Results-oriented with a proven ability to drive revenue growth.
