About Our Client Our client is a multinational NGO dedicated to strengthening health systems through data-driven solutions that respond to local needs. Their mission is to equip underserved communities with the tools they need to lead healthier lives. They are currently seeking an Head of Mission for Chad The Head of Mission is the lead technical and managerial expert responsible for the overall coordination, strategic oversight, and delivery of consulting services in the project. Key Responsibilities: Full responsibility for the contractor’s services and outcomes. Ensure project activities align with other interventions (donor and local). Design, implement, monitor, and evaluate capacity-building for local value chain partners. Oversee cross-cutting themes (e.g., gender). Manage both long- and short-term experts. Identify needs and budget for short-term missions. Monitor and evaluate results and write project reports. Ensure adherence to admin procedures and budget planning with GIZ. Support ongoing project design updates and planning for follow-up phases.
