Senior Finance Manager – Corporate Services (all genders) (Any location in Portugal)

At Tenthpin, we are seeking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our internal team in Portugal, as we are strengthening our Finance organization. This is a key leadership position for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience, including leading a finance department or acting as an R2R Lead in a shared services environment.

The opportunity

In this role, you will act as a first-line support to the Global Head of Finance, playing a pivotal role in driving the function forward. You will lead strategic initiatives, manage core finance operations, and provide guidance and soft leadership across the team, while supporting the continued growth and transformation of the Finance organization.

The role will include but not be limited to

• Act as a trusted partner to the Global Head of Finance • Lead and oversee end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes • Ensure full compliance with local accounting and tax regulations (Portugal) • Drive month-end and year-end closing activities • Lead internal finance initiatives and transformation projects • Provide soft leadership, mentorship, and guidance across the Finance team • Support the development and scaling of the Finance function in a growing organization • Ensure strong governance, compliance, and internal controls • Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives

Your experience

• 10+ years of experience in Finance, including leadership responsibilities • Proven experience and strong expertise in R2R within a Shared Services environment or leading a Corporate Finance function • Strong knowledge of local accounting and tax frameworks (Portugal), with interest in expanding into other geographies • Experience working in international or shared services environments • Strong team and project management skills • High flexibility and ability to adapt to evolving business needs • Comfortable interacting with senior leadership and C-level stakeholders • Ability to lead through influence and non-hierarchical (soft) leadership • Structured, analytical, and proactive mindset • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
