Retail Sales Manager
Job description
Job Summary: Koolboks Kenya is seeking a highly driven Retail Sales Manager with a strong background in the home appliances industry to lead and grow sales for our partner brands, including Haier, Beko, LG, Hisense, Mika, and others. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of retail sales, distribution networks, and consumer purchasing behavior in the home appliances sector. This role requires a proactive professional with a proven track record in sales strategy, business development, and retail management. Key Responsibilities: Retail Sales & Business Development: ● Drive Koolbuy sales across partner brands (Haier, Beko, LG, Hisense, Mika, etc.) through retail and distribution channels. ● Identify and engage potential retail partners, distributors, and customers to expand Koolbuy’s market presence. ● Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets. ● Strengthen relationships with existing retail partners to increase sales volume and brand visibility. ● Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and new sales opportunities. ● Coordinate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and in-store activations. Retail & Distribution Management: ● Oversee retail sales performance, ensuring seamless operations across partner stores. ● Work closely with partner brands to optimize product placement and in-store promotions. ● Ensure stock availability, proper merchandising, and effective point-of-sale execution. ● Develop training programs to equip sales teams with product knowledge and sales techniques. Customer Engagement & Support: ● Enhance customer experience by ensuring high-quality service across all retail touchpoints. ● Gather customer feedback and market insights to refine sales strategies. ● Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution. Reporting & Sales Analysis: ● Track and report sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. ● Maintain accurate sales records and analyze key performance indicators. ● Prepare regular reports on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: ● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. ● Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the home appliances industry. ● Proven track record in sales strategy, retail distribution, and partner management. ● Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. ● Ability to manage multiple sales accounts and drive performance in a fast-paced environment. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools. ● Experience in training and managing sales teams is an added advantage.
